1. The Golden Rule: Be Respectful & Kind

This is the most important rule. Treat everyone with respect, even when you disagree. Healthy debates are natural, but there is no place for:

• Personal Attacks & Insults: Criticize ideas, not people. Name-calling, ad hominem attacks, and personal insults are not permitted.
• Harassment & Bullying: Any form of bullying, intimidation, or targeted harassment will result in an immediate ban.
• Hate Speech: Comments that promote discrimination, disparage, or belittle an individual or group based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other identity markers are strictly forbidden.

2. Keep It Relevant & Helpful

Help us keep the community organized and valuable for everyone.

• Post in the Right Forum: Please post your topic in the most relevant category. A question about Thai visas belongs in the "Travel Tips Thailand" forum, not "Asian Flavors." This helps others find information easily.
• Use Clear & Descriptive Titles: A topic titled "Help!" is not as useful as "Question About Renewing a Visa in Bangkok." Good titles get you better answers, faster.
• Stay On-Topic: While conversations can evolve naturally, please try to keep replies relevant to the original topic.

3. No Spam or Overt Self-Promotion

This is a community for discussion, not a marketplace for advertising.

• Spam is Forbidden: Posting irrelevant links, affiliate marketing links, or repetitive promotional messages is considered spam and will be removed.
• Limited Self-Promotion: You are welcome to include a link to your personal blog or website in your user profile. However, creating topics or replies solely to drive traffic to your own site, product, or service is not allowed. Sharing a helpful link to your own content is acceptable if it directly and substantively answers a user's question.

4. Respect Privacy & Safety

Protect yourself and other members of the community.

• Do Not Share Private Information: Never post someone else's personal information (phone numbers, addresses, private emails, etc.). We strongly advise against sharing your own sensitive personal information publicly.
• Keep it Legal: Do not post content that is obscene, sexually explicit, or encourages illegal activity.

5. Moderation & Enforcement

Our moderation team works to keep the community safe and constructive. By participating here, you agree that our moderators have the final say in the interpretation and enforcement of these rules.

• Warnings & Deletions: Minor infractions will typically result in a friendly warning or the removal of the specific post.
• Suspensions & Bans: Repeated violations or serious offenses (like hate speech or harassment) will result in a temporary suspension or a permanent ban from the community.
